Getting Started

  • Create your free account — no credit card needed
  • Choose your target exam: TCF Canada or TEF Canada
  • Take your first practice test in under 5 minutes
  • Review your AI-generated score and feedback
  • Use the Progress page to track improvement over time

Taking Practice Tests

  • Select a skill (Reading, Listening, Writing, or Speaking) from the dashboard
  • Toggle Exam Mode on for a timed, realistic exam experience
  • Answer all questions and click Submit — or wait for auto-submit
  • Review your detailed results and AI feedback immediately after
  • Retake tests as many times as you like within your monthly quota

Account & Billing

  • Upgrade or downgrade your plan from the Account page at any time
  • Your quota resets on the 1st of each calendar month
  • Cancel your subscription before the renewal date to avoid being charged
  • Update your payment method in Account → Billing
  • Request a refund within 7 days of your first payment

Speaking & Writing Tests

  • Speaking tests require microphone access — allow it when prompted
  • Use Chrome or Edge for the best audio recording experience
  • Writing tests have no audio; type your response in the text area provided
  • AI evaluation for Speaking and Writing may take 30–60 seconds after submission
  • You can view your evaluated response and criteria scores in My Results

Technical Troubleshooting

  • If audio does not play, check browser permissions and device volume
  • Clear your browser cache if the page loads incorrectly
  • Use an up-to-date browser — Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari
  • Disable browser extensions if you experience unexpected behaviour
  • For persistent issues, email support@deeplingo.ca with your browser and OS details

  • CEFR levels range from A1 (beginner) to C2 (mastery)
  • Most Canadian immigration programs require B2 or higher
  • The Progress page shows your score trend across multiple tests
  • The Skill Breakdown shows your average and best score per skill
  • AI feedback highlights specific mistakes and personalised study tips
